We are pleased to announce that IFIS&IZ Publications has released another new book: Introduction into Qur\u2019anic Science and Tafsir (German: Koranwissenschaften und Koraexegese \u2013 Eine Einf\u00fchrung) with 601 pages. It is the first book in the series \u201cIntroducting Books\u201d in which further fundamental books about the different disciplines in Islamic Theology will be published in future. Prof. Dr. H\u00fcseyin \u0130lker \u00c7\u0131nar (Chairholder of Qur\u2019anic Exegesis at University of Osnabr\u00fcck and Founding Director of IFIS&IZ) provides a broad introduction into the Qur\u2019an and its genesis, the different disciplines of Qur\u2019anic sciences (\u02bful\u016bm al-qur\u02be\u0101n), and delineates on the basis of selected texts the Muslim Qur\u2019anic Exegesis (tafs\u012br). The book also includes the views of Western scholars and provides for the first time in German language a comprehensive scientifc analysis of the fundamental sciences of Qur\u2019anic exegesis.
